Such a handsome boy and full of life , even with his disability. I hope you got another Weim, they are the best dogs in the world. Thanks for trying to save him, cancer sucks.

I was heartbroken to read your comment to me. Skip is 10 now and though he still acts like a puppy, I know “that day” is closer and it saddens me to know that someday my buddy will be gone. Like I said, your a good owner and should you get another Weimaraner, he/she will be a very lucky dog to have you as it’s “human”. Take care – Patrick.

I smiled when I saw this. Some folks might have had him put down due to the cost.I love my weimaraner Skip and would do the same for him. You are a good owner and friend to your companion..My prayers for his health.

what a shame they disabled the audio for this video… I’ve watched this video a few times and Bridge Over Troubled Water was a perfect song to go with the visuals. Lost my own weimaraner last month… we’re heartbroken

Very true, he enjoyed every day and adapted to life on three legs with ease. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment and viewing the video.

Dogs always teach us lessons. As you can see in this video, a dog like Ben doesn’t whine or bemoan his lost leg, he adapts, overcomes and keeps on living life. His tail was still high, he still did the happy pant while exploring and jogging.

I’m sorry to hear about Ben. He looks like such a sweet, strong boy, and he is beautiful. We just lost our weim Gus at age 12 – he was blind and had congestive heart failure. We miss him terribly. My heart goes out to you.

He will never be replaced and is sadly missed.

Nice Video! I’m currently dealing with my buddy Colby’s (Rott) Osteosarcoma diagnosis. I’m so sad and don’t want to let him go. I’ve never cried so much. He’s such a good dog! Thank you for your video.
