Q&A: My dog has lung cancer. Are there any herbs I can give her to help with her immune system?Posted by: Alan in dog cancer, tags: cancer, give, help, Herbs, immune, lung, system, thereQuestion by Catherine B: My dog has lung cancer. Are there any herbs I can give her to help with her immune system? Best answer: Answer by Trevor Ask your vet if there are any doggy pain killers to help her in her final weeks. If she is suffering a lot, as painful as it is, you may need to just have her put down. I’m sorry to hear that, I send my condolence. What do you think? Answer below!
In memory of our beloved dogs, Spirit and Jordan. Original video was taken in the spring of 2007, when Spirit was in the midst of her struggle with degenerative myelopathy and needed a doggie wheelchair for locomotion. Around that time Jordan was diagnosed with aggressive terminal cancer. He defied the odds and lived another happy and active 18 months. The original video has been edited and shortened, and additional photos of Jordan and friends have been added.

Dare2Care4Sophie – February 13, 2011.wmvPosted by: Alan in dog cancer, tags: 2011.wmv, Dare2Care4Sophie, February
Here’s our second video entry for the Dare2Care4Sophie blog. Today I ran a 5K race in Brooklyn in FULL COSTUME as the “Dancing Dog!” It was my first time out in the costume and I had a blast. My plan is to take my Dancing Dog routine around various busy areas of town (boom box, disco tunes, you get the idea…), and what better way to kick things off than among the supportive (and charitable) running community? I met some lovely people and even bonded with some fellow pet parents. If you were there, please head on over to www.Dare2Care4Sophie.com and sign our guestbook! And don’t forget to send me those photos if you took any. See you all at the PPTC Cherry Tree 10-miler!

She fell sick on October 15th, and at 3:30 am on October 17th, I had to make the devastating decision to let her go and be pain free. Her illness turned out to be pancreatic cancer. There will never be another Shebang, she was the dog of a lifetime. Question by I_luv_Red_Jumpsuit_Apparatus: I think my dog has cancer? Best answer: Answer by Dav What do you think? Answer below! |
