Question by Amya: What are the benefits for having a male dog fixed? What % of dogs have cancer?
I’m totally for it, but my uncle (who lives with us) really doesn’t like it. What are some good ways to convince him?
Its the families dog- me, my sister, my brother, my mom, and my uncle. We all are deciding on this together.

Answer by you’re lucky I’m nice if you aren’t breeding the animal, spay or neuter it. not only is it for health purposes, but for aggression and marking issues as well. whose dog is it? they decide.
Question by Aduial: Stories about your dogs?
Hello everyone. I had to put down my best friend today. My lab, Vallie, just couldn’t fight the lymphoma anymore. I’m finally cried out and now I’m thinking about the good life she had and I’m glad she’s in a better place, no longer suffering. In thinking about her I’m remembering all the funny and heart warming stories that I love about her and I wonder what stories you have about your dogs. Maybe hearing some will help me feel better. Dogs really are amazing aren’t they? What makes your dog extraordinary?

Answer by Sarah My dog Kobe jumped off a 12 ft. balcony once, because he was afraid of the fireworks people were setting off on the beach. We found him wandering the street in front of our house, unscathed. He hasn’t done it since tho…
Kobe also loves to help my brother and sister and cousins dig up clams on the beach. People seem to think this is pretty amusing. He’ll jump around and dig up sand barking all exited.
And the best time was when he found a dead stingray on the sand, it was all stiff and old and sunbleached and he was carrying it around like a dog bone, holding it by the tail.

Has anyone else ever dealt w/this? He has lost 10% of his weight in 1 month. He is a chow mix, and feisty and has a great appetite. In other words, you would never know he was sick. I am in shock.

Idabelle is the best dog I ever could have asked for. This is a tribute to the life of a tough dog from the pound. A rough life, but one that deserved a second chance. She was grouchy at times, and needed special rehabilitation, but she ended up trusting us. And loving us. Thank you God for a wonderful opportunity to raise Ida the best way I could. Ida was never sick for 11 years, until she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I pray for a cure in canine and human cancer. Video Rating: 0 / 5
